Important security announcement – Phishing emails

Dear members,

We wanted to bring to your attention reports we have received from some of you (a huge thank you to those members who reported this issue) who have been the recipient of unauthorized email invitations, typically known as ‘phishing’ emails in the tech world.

These emails, purporting to be from Toluna, offer large incentives for surveys for filling out an application with your personal details. We wanted to warn you about the content of these emails and assure you that they are not coming from Toluna, nor its partners.

Please be aware that the invitations are not Toluna branded, do not include the usual Toluna identification elements and do not originate from our company. If you receive any suspicious e-mails claiming to be from Toluna, please do not reply back and delete those e-mails. It is a scam – these e-mails are fraudulent and they do not originate from our company.

Our security department is doing everything it can to determine the source of these emails and act accordingly.
